BROKEN EGGS

Once her body formed a crust her mother replaced the blue bonnet she wore with a second-hand shower cap to reduce the amount of moisture that can come in contact with her skin. Really, any sort of liquid could turn the eggshels on her face to mush. It is a huge drag when it rains; she has to lie on her back for the whole day so the shells can reform underneath.

Eggshells soaked in vinegar, human hair, shower cap, salvaged metal from a horse bridle, marble dust, electric candles, elastic from fitted bedsheets, cherry jello, electric candles
